About Buddy

Buddy is a very active 6 year old collie who would enjoy a rural location. He greets people in a very friendly, calm manner and is a very gentle boy.

We were told he was very bad around traffic and in the car, our volunteer trainer has taken him out, and like most border collies he is not fond of traffic, but if walked on the inside he totally ignores it. In the car he has no issues other than needing a helping hand in and only whines a little on the short journeys he has been on.

He does pull on the lead but if a head collar is used he walks nicely on a loose lead. We will continue to socialise him and take him on car journeys whilst he is with us. The right home for Buddy would be with someone who can continue his training and help with his confidence.
